That's officially awesome...

as for comments, I'm not too sure on photobucket, but on Flickr, you put them on during the upload process. Somewhere along the way it says below the picture "Click to add comment" or something similar.

Those are great pics - but this would be MUCH more valuable as a pdf doc that folks could download and/or print.

Very cool, CG. Bravo...

Did you know that Bearberry leaves, also known as Kinnikinick, sp. supposedly has narcotic properties somewhat similar to Opium when smoked?

no i didn't know that,
the Peterson guide has Bearberry leaves as a tobacco substitute
while another guide says that smoking these leaves can cause dizziness and even unconsciousness

Reasonable for a written "Guide" to play it safe.

I'm not suggesting anyone run out and load a bowl or anything, but sometimes information like this can help save someone from pain or shock from injury.
I tried it and what I tried was not very potent, but there are likely huge variations in samples depending on the environment.

You may want to check these plants off against another reference before eating them. They picture water hemlock, for example. Don't eat that unless you want a free trip to the morgue.

There is a guy on youtube that does a series called "eat the weeds". Has helped me ID a few edibles. The video quality is not so hot, so have to cross-reference with google image search. Too bad Jerry isn't around to contribute to this thread.

Therein lies the rub... :thumb.aspx:
